Jet Ski Rental Safety Procedures

1. Wear Your Life Jacket at All Times
   All riders must wear a properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while operating or riding the jet ski.

2. Attend the Safety Briefing
   Customers must listen carefully to the safety instructions and operating procedures provided before departure.

3. Know How to Operate the Jet Ski
   Make sure you understand the throttle, steering, braking/reverse system, safety lanyard, and emergency procedures before leaving the dock.

4. Attach the Safety Lanyard
   The safety lanyard must be securely attached to the operator at all times while the jet ski is running.

5. Maintain a Safe Speed
   Operate the jet ski at a safe and controlled speed appropriate for weather, water conditions, traffic, and your surroundings.

6. Maintain a Safe Distance
   Keep a safe distance from other vessels, swimmers, docks, beaches, rocks, bridges, and other obstacles. Never operate dangerously close to other watercraft.

7. Follow Navigation Rules
   Follow all applicable local and federal boating laws and right-of-way rules. Always remain alert and watch for other vessels and obstacles.

8. Do Not Operate Under the Influence
   Operating a jet ski while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs judgment or coordination is strictly prohibited.

9. No Reckless Operation
   Do not perform dangerous maneuvers, sharp turns at excessive speed, jumps, racing, wake jumping, or any other behavior that could endanger yourself or others.

10. Observe Weather and Water Conditions
    If weather or water conditions become unsafe, return to the designated return location immediately and follow the rental company's instructions.

11. Know the Passenger Limits
    Never exceed the manufacturer's maximum passenger capacity or weight limit.

12. Keep Hands and Feet Inside the Jet Ski
    Keep all body parts away from the jet pump, intake grate, and other moving components. Never approach the rear of an operating jet ski.

13. Stay in Designated Operating Areas
    Remain within the approved riding area and respect all restricted or no-wake zones.

14. Emergency Procedures
    In an emergency, remain calm, stay with the jet ski when safe to do so, and contact the rental company or emergency services as instructed during the safety briefing.

15. Report Any Damage or Problems
    Immediately notify the rental company of any accident, collision, mechanical issue, or damage to the jet ski.

16. Return the Jet Ski as Instructed
    Return the jet ski to the designated location at the agreed time and follow all instructions provided by the rental staff.
